Grand Canyon Sunset Tour with Dinner from Flagstaff

Grand Canyon Sunset Tour with Dinner from Flagstaff

The Grand Canyon Sunset Tour with Dinner from Flagstaff is a tour to the Grand Canyon from Flagstaff. You'll see the Painted Desert, the Little Colorado River Gorge, and the Historic Cameron Trading Post on the Navajo Nation...but the highlights of this tour are seeing the Grand Canyon at Sunset followed by a delicious dinner with a spectacular view.

You've heard about it, now witness it for yourself! Nothing can compare to a Grand Canyon sunset.

Our first stop on the way to the Grand Canyon is at the Historic Cameron Trading Post. You will have the opportunity to browse the Native American artwork and shop for souvenirs. As we drive into the Grand Canyon's East entrance, through the Navajo Nation, you will see the Little Colorado River Gorge and The Painted Desert.

Our last stop is at Grand Canyon Village on the Canyon's South Rim. Here you will find many famous buildings, such as the El Tovar, Hopi House, and Bright Angel Lodge. You will have plenty of free time to explore the buildings, gift shop, or do some walking along the paved rim trail.

Dinner is served at the Arizona Room. This casual Southwestern-style steak house serves chicken, steak, and seafood. This restaurant's location provides canyon views from the dining room that are the best of any restaurant at the South Rim.

What should I bring and what should I wear for my trip to the Grand Canyon?

You should wear comfortable shoes, a hat to keep your head protected from the sun, sunglasses, and sunscreen. It may be cool in the early morning or evening and can get very hot in the afternoons. A light shirt, shorts, and a rain jacket are recommended in warmer months. It does rain in Arizona so you may also want to carry an umbrella. Light day packs are great for carrying everything you will need and for filling up with all of the wonderful souvenirs that you will find at the many gift shops. Don't forget your camera with plenty of film.

    Great tour

The tour was amazing. The service provider actually called us the day before to tell us weather could affect the trip and potentially cancel it. We agreed to wait till the morning of the tour to decide. When we called, they said we were on, and it was just my wife and I going, so we basically had our own private tour.\n\nThe weather was overcast and rainy in spots, but it always seemed to clear up as we stopped to take in the magnificent views of the Grand Canyon. Our guide seemed to be very excited that the weather conditions actually created some scenery that he was not normally used to seeing, and he was just a little disappointed that he forgot his own camera
