Smooth Water Raft on the Colorado River from Flagstaff
See the scenic Grand Canyon The best way to spend the most time on the Colorado River! This tour takes you on a 15 mile trip down the most dramatic stretches of river in the western United States. Your experienced guide will tell you the story of the area's soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue-green waters, abundant wildlife, exploration by Major John Wesley Powell and others, and the river's modern role in the Southwest's water and power delivery system. A stop to view an impressive set of ancient petroglyphs will offer you a chance to stretch your legs while bearing witness to the area's former inhabitants by ancient native cultures. If you choose, you may also refresh yourself by wading in the cold, clear river. The whole day is full of great opportunities for picture taking.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center. Your tour departs Flagstaff and heads towards Page, AZ and Glen Canyon Dam. You will be transported to Page where you will begin your trip down the Colorado River. Your trip begins with an exciting and exclusive ride down the two-mile long Glenn Canyon Dam access tunnel. At river level, with the dam soaring 700 feet above, you'll board a comfortable pontoon raft for the journey down river. For the next fifteen miles you'll experience one of the most dramatic stretches of river in the western United States. The river portion of the trips end at historic Lees Ferry, gateway to the Grand Canyon. Here you will board an awaiting bus to return to Flagstaff. This tour also stops at Cameron for 1/2 hour of shopping. Cameron has the largest assortment of southwest and native gifts and merchandise. Tour Notes:
